About

What I do

I'm a mobile engineer and lead based in Bengaluru. Over the last eleven years I've worked on both sides of the mobile stack — consumer and enterprise apps that reach real users, and the SDKs that other engineering teams build on top of.

Today I'm at JLL on the Corrigo facilities-management suite, working across a fifteen-person team on three iOS apps used in business-critical maintenance workflows. Before that I led iOS at Jio Platforms, and spent four years building NFC and secure-element SDKs for NXP and Bluetooth device SDKs for Jabra.

Outside work I ship my own apps. Stotramala is a multilingual library of over seven thousand stotras; ThoughtCast and OmniSense are performance tools for mentalists built on Bluetooth, NFC and on-device ML. I run those end to end — code, releases, store listings and support.

  1. JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle)

    Bengaluru, India

    Global commercial real-estate services firm. Corrigo is JLL's facilities-management and CMMS product suite.

    Senior Software Engineer

    Nov 2023 – PresentCurrent

    • Build and ship iOS apps across JLL's Corrigo facilities suite — Corrigo, Corrigo Enterprise and CorrigoPro — in 19 languages, including QR- and NFC-driven service requests.
    • Own mobile architecture decisions for a 15-engineer team working across Swift, Objective-C and Kotlin.
    • Led the CocoaPods to Swift Package Manager migration, delivered ahead of schedule, and wrote the migration guide other teams adopted.
    • Led the Datadog integration on iOS, improving observability and diagnostics across the mobile estate.
    • Cut login time by roughly 50% and screen load times by up to 80% across the Corrigo apps.
    • Cut CI/CD build and release time by 30% on GitHub Actions, and grew XCTest coverage each release.
    • Standardised localisation and font accessibility across the suite.

  2. Jio Platforms Limited (JPL)

    Reliance Jio's digital-platforms arm; consumer apps at national scale.

    Lead iOS Engineer

    Oct 2022 – Nov 2023

    • Led iOS for JioAICloud (Storage & Photos) from v58.0.0 with a team of 6.
    • Architected and shipped Platfom, a short-video product, from scratch — owned architecture and the feature roadmap.
    • Drove an app-size reduction programme on JioAICloud, cutting the binary by 25% to improve install conversion on low-bandwidth connections.
    • Designed scalable architecture for high-traffic products and mentored engineers on modularity and testing.
    • Maintained Jenkins CI/CD and XCTest suites, and represented iOS in cross-functional planning.

  3. CGI

    Bengaluru, India

    Global IT services firm; engagement delivered NFC and secure-element products for NXP Semiconductors.

    Lead Analyst

    Jun 2021 – Oct 2022

    • Led iOS SDK engineering for NXP's MIFARE 2GO, turning a phone into a contactless transit ticket via a certified secure element.
    • Owned the SDK lifecycle: public API design, provisioning and payment flows, XCTest, a reference demo app and AsciiDoc/DocC docs.
    • Ran Jenkins CI/CD for multi-platform library builds and worked with NXP's core team on card structures.
    • Integrated REST backends behind enterprise mobile workflows and improved stability release over release.

    Senior Software Engineer

    Feb 2019 – May 2021

    • Built mWallet2GO, an iOS SDK for contactless Mastercard and VISA payments via the secure element in phones and wearables.
    • Developed TapLinx, a Swift/Objective-C/C++ library for reading and writing NFC Forum tag types, used by NXP's own apps.
    • Shipped and maintained NXP's public NFC apps — TagInfo, TagWriter and AppXplorer.
    • Wrote the developer-facing SDK documentation and release notes partner integrators worked from.

  4. Mindtree

    Bengaluru, India

    IT services firm; engagement delivered macOS and iOS SDKs and plugins for Jabra (GN Audio).

    Senior Software Engineer

    Apr 2017 – Feb 2019

    • Built the Jabra Universal SDK for macOS and iOS — device settings, call control and firmware update across the headset range.
    • Implemented BLE communication for pairing, firmware interaction and live headset status; improved connection stability across devices.
    • Developed macOS Jabra Softphone plugins bridging Skype, Bria and Avaya to Jabra hardware for remote call control.
    • Worked with hardware and firmware teams on reliable device communication, and wrote the manuals shipped to integrators.
    • Delivered an enterprise iOS app for American Red Cross employees behind Microsoft Enterprise SSO.

  5. IDS NEXT Business Solutions Pvt Ltd

    Hospitality ERP vendor.

    • Built Stay Ahead, letting guests of IDS-network hotels hold rooms, order room service and watch the folio bill live.
    • Developed Pulze247, giving hotel owners real-time property statistics and business-critical KPIs as graphs.
    • Defined app flow and UI with the design team and coordinated delivery with backend.

  6. Cosmonet Solutions

    Bengaluru, India

    Product engineering studio serving APAC clients.

    Software Engineer

    Oct 2014 – Aug 2016

    • Built Spizza for a Singapore pizza chain — menu and combo ordering, payment gateway, reservations and outlet maps.
    • Developed Personal Carpool, letting drivers and riders publish, match and manage rides.
    • Owned app flow and task assignment for a two-engineer team, interfacing with backend and UI/UX.
